Marcelo Sant'Iago has been working in advertising for over 30 years and has always been a cocktail lover. What was a hobby became a profession: for the last 5 years he was the editor of Difford's Guide Brazil and is currently Chief Cocktail Officer at Top Cocktails (, a curated platform of content, products, services and experiences, connecting cocktail lovers with bars and spirits brands in Brazil.
He is one of the pioneers of digital marketing in Brazil and has worked as a C-level executive in local and multinational companies and startups. In his career, he has created projects for Bacardi, Beam Suntory, Brown-Forman, Diageo, Nestlé, Pernod Ricard, Unilever and other leading companies. He was also president of the Interactive Advertising Bureau Brazil from 2002 to 2006.
Sant'Iago is often invited to judge cocktail competitions and has articles published in Brazil and abroad. Part of his job is to travel the world, visiting bars and exhibitions, to learn and discover new trends that can be introduced in Brazil.
