Barney starterd his career working in his hometown of Belfast. After tending a few local bars he realised his love for all things hospitality and decided to throw himself into the world of cocktails. After making his marks behind some of Belfast bars he was invited to open a series of new venues of which received a number of national awards for their creativity and team. Falling in love with fast pace and engaging environments full of ‘craic’, he decided to explore different cities and found himself packing his bags, moving to Paris and working at Little Red Door. Barney’s creativity and hospitality has become legendary in the French capital, his ethos of hard work meeting fun meant that in 2019 he became a senior bartender and holds key responsibility in the development of Little Red Door.
