A truly iconic bar, Oriole is the work of two London industry pioneers, Edmund Weil and Rosie Stimpson. Eventually, with Gabriele and Luca at the helm, its cocktails were taken to the next level - served in vessels rather than glasses, with extravagant garnishes and esoteric flavors. With a pared-down list of ingredients and garnishes reminiscent of ecosystems - all without sacrificing the magnificent nature of its cocktails - Oriole finds its structure, inspiration, and direction through travel and history. The menu incorporates flavors from the Old World (Europe, Africa), the Orient (Asia, South Pacific, and sub-continent), and the Americas. Originally from Milan, Gabriele currently works as an independent consultant for the cocktail industry. Luca is also Italian and emigrated to London almost 15 years ago to both improve his English and perfect his expertise as a bartender.
