She was born in the State of Mexico but grew up in Morelia, so she considers herself Moreliana at heart. Gina discovered her love for bars while doing her internship at one of the coolest bars in Morelia: Tata Mezcalería. Then she decided to come to Mexico City to try her luck; she had all kinds of jobs trying to do what she had studied: organizing massive events. On her way, she found a couple of bars, such as the boutique hotel Domingo Santo, Sagardi or Balmori Rooftop, where she stayed for just a few months before receiving the invitation to start the selection process to work at Hanky Panky, the speakeasy where we all want to be, and where today she works as bar manager.
